Instructions

Brown ground beef in a skillet, seasoning lightly with onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Drain excess grease.
Stir in the ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Let cook for another 1–2 minutes until well combined. Remove from heat.
Transfer the cooked beef mixture to the slow cooker. Add the diced potatoes, chopped onion, and minced garlic. Pour in the broth, making sure the ingredients are mostly covered.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the potatoes are fork tender.
Using a potato masher, gently mash some of the potatoes directly in the slow cooker. This thickens the soup while still leaving chunks for texture.
Stir in the milk and cream cheese. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cream cheese is melted and smooth.
Stir in the shredded cheddar and bacon bits. Cover and cook for another 5–10 minutes, just until the cheese is fully melted.
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Ladle into bowls and top with extra cheese or your favorite burger-inspired toppings.
