Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly spray a pie dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Unroll the crescent dough and press it into the bottom and slightly up the sides of the pie dish, pinching the seams together to form a solid crust.
Bake the crust for 8 minutes, then remove it from the oven and set aside.
While the crust bakes, cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks until fully browned; drain excess grease if needed.
Add the taco seasoning to the cooked beef according to packet directions and stir until the meat is fully coated and heated through.
Spread the refried beans evenly over the baked crescent crust, smoothing them into an even layer.
Spoon the seasoned ground beef over the refried beans, then spread the salsa evenly across the beef layer.
Sprinkle the crushed Doritos or tortilla chips evenly over the salsa, then top with the shredded cheese.
Return the pie to the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before slicing; add optional toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, or sour cream before serving if desired.
